How long have you been planning Destination weddings?
I have been selling travel for 14 years and during that time I have planned several romantic destination weddings.
Why did you choose to become a Destination Wedding Specialist?
I have a passion for planning vacations and planning destination weddings is like the icing on the cake. I can't help but get caught up in their excitement, the magic of planning their special day. They are really putting all their trust in me and I want to exceed their expectations.
What's your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job is the home coming, hearing all the wonderful stories and seeing the amazing pictures. The satisfaction of having everything go as planned is so rewarding.
Which Destination is your favorite and why?
I don't think I have a favorite destination, each new destination becomes my favorite. Any destination that produces a happy bride and groom is my favorite. Mexico and Jamaica continue to be very popular choices.
Do you have a story you'd like to share with us?
I recently had clients who renewed their vows in Cuba. After 20 years and three children later, the desire to plan that special ceremony on the beach was fun. A renewal of vows can be just as exciting as a wedding ceremony and offer all the same options. After many years and many life experiences, to want to celebrate that special day all over again was so romantic!!!!

A destination wedding has so many options and so many decisions to make. Remember that this is your special day, and the choices are yours to make. Your guests will be happy for you and be happy to be a part of your special day. Don't stress about your choices be happy about them.
