How long have you been planning destination weddings?
I have been in the travel industry for over 17 years and have been planning weddings and honeymoons for the last 6 years.
Why did you choose to become a Destination Wedding Specialist?
My wedding and honeymoon was fabulous and it excites me to help other people plan their own wedding or honeymoon. Also, my strong points include attention to detail and customer service. These are absolutely essential traits when planning for groups, especially weddings/honeymoons.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
I love helping couples find their dream wedding/honeymoon location. It makes me feel great when I can be part of making their day so special.
Which destination is your favorite and why?
One of my favorite destinations is Mexico – I have been there many times – the beaches and people are great and the all-inclusive resorts are amazing
Do you have a wedding story you would like to share with us?
One of the favourite weddings I’ve planned was on a cruise ship. It was enjoyed by everyone, even those who were not able to actually sail with the group, but they could still go onboard and experience the ceremony before the ship left the harbour.
