How long have you been planning destination weddings?
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve imagined my wedding day. I understand the importance and the significance of this glorious day for the bride and groom. I recently just started my dream job and I am loving every second of it!
Why did you choose to become a Destination Wedding Specialist?
My dream has always been to become a wedding planner and I have always loved to travel. Being a Destination Wedding Specialist is the best of both worlds! Sounds nerdy, but I have a high attention to detail and I absolutely love to organize and plan events. I enjoy making a wedding truly special and unforgettable.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
The best part of being a Destination Wedding Specialist is helping couples plan their dream wedding. I can’t help but get caught up in the couples’ excitement! I love speaking to brides and helping them carry out what they have been dreaming of since they were little girls. My creativity, heart and passion that I put into a wedding makes each one unique in its own way.
Which destination is your favorite and why?
Weddings and honeymoons in the Mayan Riviera are fabulous. Gorgeous aqua marine water, warm weather and soft sand, what more could you ask for? Not only is the destination stunning, it is lively, filled with culture and great for all ages to travel to!
What’s the most exotic location that you’ve planned a wedding in?
Personally, I love weddings in the Mayan Riviera. I had the privilege of witnessing a Traditional Mayan Wedding Ceremony. It was spiritual and sacred. The traditions and rituals used by the Mayans are symbolic and filled with meanings of love.
What’s your personal philosophy on love?
Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, and love truly. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile.
Do you have a quick tip for us?
Your destination wedding should be a getaway for you and your partner. Let some things go and don’t get too caught up in the little details. Enjoy your special time away and as they say, “don’t sweat the small stuff!”
