Ensemble Travel & Transat Holidays "Destination Wedding" Contest
Rules & Regulations
How to enter:
Contest begins January 1, 2012. Enter by booking a Transat Holidays Wedding Line Package (“Joy”=$400.00, “Bliss”=$850 or “Euphoria”=$1,500.00). Each package includes various wedding arrangements such as wedding meal, flowers, minister, music, etc.). (Details at www.destinationvows.ca). Once the wedding package is booked (for a minimum of 12 people including the bride and groom), enter the contest by visiting and completing the entry form at www.destinationvows.ca and click where directed to forward the entry electronically. One entry per person. All entries must be received by 5pm EST, June 30, 2012, the contest closing date.
Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) are not responsible for any entries destroyed, mutilated, lost or misdirected. No purchase necessary – the contest may be entered online at the entry website without the booking of a wedding package. Although online access and an e-mail account must be used in order to participate in this contest, no purchase of any kind is required. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers and a number of Internet service providers and other companies offer free e-mail accounts.
To enter the “Destination Wedding” contest, individuals are required to provide their correct e-mail address, first and last name, complete address including postal code, phone number and age bracket. In addition, Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) may collect certain personal, usage and purchase information. All information collected at the participating destinationvows travel agency website for this contest is protected against unauthorized access. By using the entry website, all entrants consent to collection and use of this information by Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) and/or the participating destinationvows travel agencies.
Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) and/or the participating destinationvows travel agencies will not willfully disclose individually identifiable information about a contestant to any third party without first receiving the contestant's permission. Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) and/or the participating destinationvows travel agencies will not share or sell a contestant's personal information to other companies, organizations or individuals without the permission of the contestant. Prizes
There will be a total of one (1) prize available to be won. The prize will consist of a one week , all inclusive vacation package for two (2) at a participating Destination Wedding Package Hotel, return airfare for two (2) from the closest international airport to the winner's home to the destination airport in accordance with the Transat Holidays' flight program, roundtrip transfers between airport and hotel at destination, exclusive Transat Holidays Wedding Line package, depending on the wedding package booked. The destination wedding trip must take place between May 15, 2012 and October 31, 2013 and travel must be booked by June 30, 2012 through an Ensemble Travel® Group DestinationVows travel agency. Retail value: $3,500.00 (CAD).
All travel documentation (such as insurance, passports, visas, etc.) and taxes are the responsibility of the winner and his or her travelling companion and must be obtained prior to departure. The prize must be accepted as awarded, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed and cannot be combined with any other promotion. The $3,500.00 (CAD) credit can be used for (but not limited to) the Transat Wedding Package and/or such Ensemble-sold items as airfare, seven (7) nights' hotel accommodation, meals, and rental cars. Any portion of the $3,500.00 (CAD) credit not used for the destination wedding trip will be forfeited and not be provided to the winner as cash.
Any charges for the trip for the 10 or more guests (including insurance, travel documents, etc.) are the responsibility of those guests and their companions. Any charges over and above the $3,500.00 (CAD) credit are the responsibility of the winner and his or her travelling companions. Some blackout periods may apply and travel is subject to availability as determined by Transat Holidays (sponsor). All decisions of the judges are final.
How to win
A random draw will be held by the independent judging organization in North Vancouver, BC on July 7, 2012. Chances of winning will be dependent upon the number of eligible entries received from the Ensemble Travel® Group destinationvows entry website during the contest period. In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer the time-limited mathematical, skill-testing question administered by mail. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must first sign a Winner's Affidavit and a Winner's Agreement (including a Publicity Release), agreeing to the use of his or her name, photo, voice and/or statements without compensation other than the prize offered. The travelling companion must be over the age of majority in the province in which he or she resides on January 1, 2012 and must also sign an Affidavit and Publicity Release. The skill-testing question must be answered correctly and the required forms signed by both travellers before travel can take place. If the answer to the question is incorrect or if either party refuses to sign the forms, the selected entrant and his or her travelling companion will be disqualified and another draw will take place. By entering the contest, all entrants agree to be bound by the rules of the contest and agree to the decisions of the independent judging organization with respect to all aspects of this contest. All permanent legal residents of Canada except Quebec are eligible to win, providing they are over the age of majority in the province in which they live on January 1, 2012 and providing that they are not employees of Ensemble Travel® Group, Transat Holidays (the sponsors) and the participating Ensemble destinationvows travel agencies, their advertising or promotional agencies or the independent judging organization or family members with whom these employees are domiciled. All entries become the property of Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors).
Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) reserve the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value should this prize become unavailable for any reason and to cancel this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, printing or production errors pertaining to the contest promotional materials, unavailability of the prize due to situations with prize suppliers which are beyond the reasonable control of Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) or if any virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) or the participating destinationvows travel agencies corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) and the participating destinationvows travel agencies reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) and the participating destinationvows travel agencies are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) or the participating destinationvows travel agencies on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the entrant's or any other person's computer, related to or resulting from downloading any materials in this promotion. Ensemble Travel® Group and Transat Holidays (the sponsors) and the participating destinationvows travel agencies reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify the contest rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the contest.
The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
