I have been planning destination wedding for six years.
Why did you choose to become a Destination Wedding Specialist?
Getting married away has become very popular, and I really enjoy helping couples create their dream wedding or honeymoon.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job is getting to know the Bride and Groom and becoming part of the wedding planning process. I love that I am a small part of making their day so special.
Which destination is your favorite and why?
My favourite destination is Varadero, Cuba. It’s a wonderful location and very accessible from most gateways across Canada.
Do you have a wedding story you would like to share with us?
I had an entire wedding party purchasing travel gift certificates for the bridal shower and as wedding gifts. At the end there was enough to pay for the couple’s honeymoon.

Make sure you check out all the required documents and legal requirements in the destination you choose to marry in. Having all in order, saves time down the road.
